Andrew was born and brought up in Kendal and has an Honours Degree from the University of Liverpool, a Diploma in Surveying from the College of Estate Management in Reading and was elected a Professional Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2004. During his career of 18 years working as a local Surveyor specialising in Residential Real Estate Andrew has worked with two previous Estate Agency companies, his last appointment was as a Partner and Head of Residential in a leading upmarket National Property Company. Andrew conducts market appraisals for sales, probate and divorce work.
Clare has worked within sales and customer services roles throughout and has been with Thomson Hayton Winkley from the beginiging. Starting by establishing our Windermere branch, she is now the Residential Property Manager for the company. Clare now oversees all the offices and ensures the smooth running of the business both in sales and lettings and can provide knowledge and advice for both vendors and landlords. Clare is a member of The National Association of Estate Agents.
Having previously built up and run a successful local business with her husband, Chris returned to estate agency nearly ten years ago and working with several local estate agents she has gained significant knowledge and experience of the market. She applies her high standards of customer service and care to every aspect of the job, providing a supportive role for vendors and purchasers alike, from the first phone call through to completion of a sale. Chris is a member of The National Association of Estate Agents.
Joanne has worked within sales and customer service roles throughout her career gaining experience within several estate agents before joining Thomson Hayton Winkley in a full time role now that her children are that little older. Joanne was born in Kendal and has remained within the area her whole life giving her a great knowlege of the local area and the property market in and around the South Lakes. Joanne is a member of the National Association of Estate Agents.
Lily has worked in sales and customer service related roles since graduating from Lancaster University with a degree in English Literature. She is a Sales Negotiator in our Kendal office dealing with all aspects of the sales process with the upmost professionalism, care and attention. Lily is a member of the National Association of Estate Agents.
Kate has lived in Kendal all her life and has worked in various roles during her career including managing social housing and as a logistics co-ordinator at a local engineering firm. She has now returned to work within a field she enjoys as a Lettings Negotiator. Kate's day to day role involves showing prospective tenants around properties, handling the application process, conducting inventories and property maintenance for our managed properties.
Marie has experience in all aspects of property development and interior design from the initial stages of planning to the end result of beautiful properties making Marie perfect for her role of visiting clients homes to photograph internally and externally along with collating the information required to enable us to market properties for sale to the highest standards. An additional service we now offer is for Marie to visit your property (if required) before photography to advise you on achieving the best results when presenting your home to prospective purchasers.
Claire has worked in customer relations throughout her career specialising in finance and social care and endeavours to provide a high standard of service. As our accompanied viewer Claire brings her enthusiasm and passion to the role showing prospective purchasers around our properties. She has three beautiful children who keep her busy when she is not working and supports her husband whilst he is running his own successful business.
Gerry is originally from the North East and has now made her home in Staveley and she has worked in various roles over the years in the legal and property sector. In between spending time with her grandchildren she is one of our accompanied viewers showing potential purchasers around what will hopefully be their new home with a friendly and approachable manner.
Corrin was brought up in Chorley and after studying at the University of Central Lancashire went on to qualify as a primary school teacher. After 14 years in this role Corrin decided a change in the pace of life was in order and she relocated to Winster and began working for the National Trust. Her passion for houses and her love for the local area led her in to her current role at THW as a viewing assistant based in our Windermere branch.
