Kirkby Lonsdale is a historic market town located between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. The quaint town was recorded in the Domesday book of 1086 and some of its buildings from the 17th and 18th century stand today as inns, restaurants and shops.

The stunning town can be seen from Ruskin’s View which overlooks the Lune valley and spanning the River Lune is the famous Devil’s Bridge. Close to the town you can explore more outdoor activities such as White Scar Cave, Hutton Roof National Nature Reserve for the greatest example of the country’s limestone pavement, and Gragareth for hiking.
