Angela began her career in Estate Agency immediately after leaving school as a Junior Negotiator. She joined Thomson Hayton Winkley Estate Agents in 2016 and quickly progressed to become Company Director in 2019.

During this time THW has grown from a 2 branch agency to now having 4 branches covering the southern Lake District. Angela’s role is all encompassing from maintaining control and direction of the business, managing the team and maintaining an incredibly strong track record of sales results. She is dedicated to constantly evolving the company whilst ensuring a first class customer service experience.

Having been a business owner in the hospitality industry Amanda is our very helpful and friendly viewing agent,  You can expect to see Amanda travelling around the South Lakes in our fully electric car.  The element of the job that Amanda most enjoys is meeting and showing prospective buyers around properties and she loves to throw a wild card in suggesting other properties for buyers to go and take a look at.

Local lass Rebecca joined us in early 2016 and has been an estate agent for the past five years. She’s a very popular member of the office with a happy, hardworking and positive personality. She’s lived locally all her life and gives 100 per cent effort to ensuring her clients get the results they are after

Not a lot of people know: Rebecca has a Business Studies Degree from Manchester Met University.

Likes: Settling down and watching boxsets especially Peaky Blinders, the Blacklist and any crime related TV series.

Loves: Having good times with her boyfriend, family and friends.

Born and bred in Kendal, Joanne has been with us since 2015 and has more than 15 years’ experience as an estate agent. She is a hardworking mother and wife, who is constantly being badgered by her kids to get a pet dog. She’s approachable, dedicated, organised and very friendly and likes nothing better than when a property she has been working on completes and she’s overseen the whole process from start to successful finish. Joanne was delighted when Thomson Hayton Winkley won the Best Agent in the North East and North West in October 2017.

Not a lot of people know: Joanne is not a fan of theme parks but plucked up the courage, urged on by her children, to take a ride on one of the World’s Top 10 rollercoaster rides while on holiday in Spain.

Likes: Visiting good restaurants and having leisurely sociable meals with family and friends.

James is a true local boy having lived and worked in the South Lakes area most of his life!  An integral part of our lettings team as a Property Manager his approachability helps him to build excellent relationships with landlords and tenants. He has a calm nature which helps when tackling any challenging situations and is dedicated to ensure our tenants and landlords have a great experience with us.

He loves walking his two dogs and also his sport and when not watching football he plays for his local team.

Laura joined the team from a hospitality background having worked for some of the South Lakelands best known restaurants and breweries.  Through hard work, determination and a desire to exceed expectations Laura is a very skilled Property Manager who prides herself on providing first class customer service to our Landlords and Tenants.

Since joining Thomson Hayton Winkley Estate Agents Laura has developed a huge passion for finding a perfect home for our tenants and takes great satisfaction from seeing our tenants starting their new chapters.

Ana is a long standing member of the team and currently heads up Sales in our offices in Grange Over Sands and Kirkby Lonsdale.  Ana was born and raised in Spain and came to the UK to study before joining our team.  Ana is extremely determined and dedicated to achieve the best possible outcomes in all situations.  Ana is often described by both her colleagues and clients as being ‘tenacious’.

With Ana on side anything is possible!  You might bump in to Ana in Grange or Kirkby Lonsdale as she enjoys getting involved in all things community and she is a member of KL Ladies rugby team, bookclub and you may even spot her playing with her samba band.

Amy joined the team as a Trainee Sales Negotiator at the start of 2022.  Amy trained as a florist before following her dreams of working in the Estate Agency industry and brings her creative flair with her.  Amy will generally be your first point of contact over the telephone and when visiting our Grange over Sands and Windemere Offices. With her caring and bubbly personality Amy takes pride in delivering first class customer service.

Amy has recently become a homeowner having bought her first home and she is an excellent point of contact for first-time buyers.  Amy is loving all aspects of her role and is looking forward to progressing her career in the industry.
