Property Manager — South Lakes | THW Estate Agents

At Thomson Hayton Winkley Estate Agents, we’re proud to be one of the area’s most trusted independent agencies, known for our local knowledge, personal service, and commitment to doing things properly. We’re now looking for an organised, confident Property Manager to help us care for our growing lettings portfolio, covering Kendal, Windermere, Grange-over-Sands, Kirkby Lonsdale and the surrounding South Lakes area.

About the role:

Based in our Kendal Office, you’ll be the main point of contact for our landlords and tenants and be responsible for managing properties, arranging maintenance, carrying out inspections, and ensuring everything runs smoothly and compliantly. No two days are the same, so you’ll need to be proactive, approachable and ready to take the lead.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing a varied lettings portfolio across the South Lakes
• Arranging inspections, safety certificates, move-ins and move-outs
• Handling maintenance issues promptly and professionally
• Building positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors
• Ensuring full compliance with lettings legislation
• Keeping accurate records and managing documentation
• Working closely with our supportive, experienced team

About you:

• Previous experience in property management or lettings is preferred
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Great communication, both written and verbal
• Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Calm under pressure and good at problem-solving
• Full UK driving licence and own transport (essential)
